I'm very grateful that I've had the chance to follow my interests. Went to school for computers. Then did the whole pre-med thing but ended up working as a lowly chemist. Loyalty to family and friends is something that defines who I am. I look at life in a communal sense, rather than an individual one. ok so, like everyone else in the world, i never know what to say on these things. at times im a girly girl and others im a tom boy.. i think im a good mix of both. i use lol entirely way too much, i could care less about capilization or punctuation online because i have to reach for the shift with my pinky and i laugh too much about the stupidest viral videos.(ex:charlie the unicorn)

i love love love concerts. ive gone to around 20 just this year. i started a word doc of a list of shows ive been to since the begining of 2008. yeah, im that lame. lol. i get addicted to certian bands for lengths of time and their cd doesnt leave the car (yes i dont have an av jack in my car, jeeze im so behind in the times). right now my addictions are seether and bayside. usually these addictions are because i just saw them live, however these two bands i havent seen in a while lol.

Do I tell you I work as mechanical designer for a company that produce switches like those found on car stereos. Although then I am defining myself as my job. Which is really not what I want to do because I would then be plastic and metal. I am pretty sure I am far from the metal part and even though I used to chew on a few pens. im 23 work for my family business. i like going out alot and hanging out with my friends. i am huge into drag racing and i race my bike(suzuki hayabusa) and i also race my mustang. in the summer time i like going to the racetrack once every week/other week. in the winter time i like to ride my snowmobile and go sledding and just have a good time.

I'm a freak and a geek, artist and a rocker, longboarding, tech fixing, fashion whore. Suppose that's really the best description I can come up with. I'm fairly fascinated by everything, I can't help but see things I want to learn everywhere. These 'Self-Summaries' are very difficult to write without sounding horribly self absorbed. Well, here goes.

I've lived in Chicago(suburbs) most of my life. I love this area with the exception of the volatile change of seasons. I despise winter, mainly because I enjoy spending my time outside. I'm always down for a long walk, canoe, or camping trip.

I would like to live in a somewhat rural area in my later adulthood, living 'off the grid'. It would be great to not have to rely on a grocery store, power company, and all of the other niceties of suburban living. I'd like my kids to appreciate nature, and where their food comes from.

I haven't spent much of my time volunteering or giving back. There is a great organization, Charity: Water, which collects money to provide clean drinking water to those who don't have it. If there were 48 hours in a day I would have the time to actually help. Since I don't, I make a monthly donation.
